Things to do...

[Geen Nederlandse tekst want ik had niet zo'n zin om die te schrijven - jullie begrijpen de Engelse tekst ook vast wel]

I am hoarding all kinds of random items for my 6-month leave from NL.

  • Cutlery (never knew it was quite expensive...)
  • Bathrobe (pink, as per usual)
  • Fleece plaid with sleeves (essential!)
  • Bags (ranging from big to small - I have three)
  • Keychains
  • Organizer
  • Window wipe thingie for in the shower (because standard cleaning methods are SO 1980s)
  • Towels, flannels, bed linen... the whole lot
  • Socks (ranging from normal to extra thick)
  • Clothes (still need to buy some wintery shirts and jeans)
  • Jackets
  • Umbrellas
  • Socket plugs for my European guitar rig, radio system, and other electrical appliances (yay to the UK for having weird plugs)

I really need to make a list of what to bring from NL and what to buy in the UK.

So, yes, please donate all your money directly to me. You most likely have no use for it anyway so why not give it to me? I'll send you a postcard when it's Christmas. Yeah, that should do the trick ;)

We're leaving for the UK on September 24. Ferry from Rotterdam to Hull. Quite expensive (200-400 for each journey), but hey, we get to bring the car and that is essential to this trip; I can't stuff all my junk into a plane without freaking out that it might break (which most likely will happen).

Goodbye parties are at the end of the coming week. Bring your own Kleenex.
